Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Dante Casanova has signed a new contract with the club until 2027. The 21-year-old player came through the Tottenham Hotspur youth system and has been a key player for the club's Under-21 team over the past few seasons.  

Dante Casanova was a key member of Tottenham Hotspur's Championship title-winning side in the 2023-24 season and captained the team on several occasions in the just- concluded 2024-25 season .  

Dante Casanova is a versatile defensive player who can play as a centre-back, full-back and defensive midfielder. Last season, he made 8 first-team substitute appearances, 2 of which were in the Premier League and 4 in the team's Europa League title race.  

After successfully renewing his contract, Dante Casanova said: "I am very happy to be able to renew my contract. This place feels like home, the people around me are great, and there are many opportunities here. I am very happy to be able to stay here. This club means a lot to me and I am proud to continue this journey. This season is full of firsts for me. This is also my first time to play with the first team and participate in the game."  

“I learned a lot of valuable lessons, such as how the first team prepares for important games. It is very rare to experience these processes for the first time, and seeing my teammates prepare for European competitions is very rewarding for us young players. Frankly speaking, everyone in the first team is very friendly, which makes me feel comfortable and can better play my role.”  

When Dante Casanova was asked what he hopes to achieve at the club after signing his new contract, he said: "I hope to go all out from this stage and keep moving forward. Although it is the off-season, once pre-season training starts, I will do my best to continue to improve myself."
