Hoffenheim's Bosnian international center forward Haris Tabaković joins Hoffenheim on-loan..


Borussia Mönchengladbach announced on its official website on Friday that Hoffenheim's Bosnian international center forward Haris Tabaković will join the club on-loan.


According to Borussia Mönchengladbach's official statement, Tabaković will play for the club on-loan until the end of the new season, and the loan agreement does not include any buyout clause. At the same time, he will also wear the No. 15 jersey.


After completing his joining procedures, Tabaković, who was interviewed by Borussia Mönchengladbach's official website for the first time, said: "I am very excited about this new challenge and can't wait to play in front of the fans and feel the atmosphere of Borussia-Park.


"I had a very pleasant conversation with the club and now I look forward to meeting my teammates, coaches and everyone involved."


Tabaković's arrival will fill the vacancy left by the legendary France international forward Alassane Pléa who joined PSV Eindhoven the day before.


About Haris Tabaković


Tabaković, 31, was born in Grenchen, Switzerland on June 20, 1994. He is 1.94 meters tall and plays as a center forward. He has dual citizenship of Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.


Tabaković joined the Young Boys youth academy since he was a child, and completed his Young Boys first-team debut in October 2012.


In January 2014, Tabaković was loaned-out to Wil for a year and a half.


On the the 2016 winter transfer window deadline day, Tabakovic moved to Grasshopper Zurich.


In August of the following year, Tabaković joined Debrecen as a free agent, and moved to Diósgyőr in the summer of the following year.


In September 2020, Tabaković joined Austria Lustenau as a free agent.


During his two-year spell with Austria Lustenau, Tabaković won the Austrian 2. Liga once with the club.


In July 2022, Tabaković moved to Austria Vienna as a free agent. During this spell, he reached the Austrian Cup quarterfinals once with the club.


In January of the following year, Tabaković joined Hertha Berlin for €1.5 million. During this spell, he won the 2. Bundesliga Golden Boot Award with 22 goals.


In August last year, Tabaković moved to Hoffenheim for 3 million.


Last season, Tabaković played 29 times for the Bundesliga club in all competitions, scored 4 goals, and assisted 1 time. During which he successfully helped the club avoided relegation and reached the round of 16s of the DFB-Pokal.
