Kepa from Spain recently officially joined the Premier League giants Arsenal, and the goalkeeper said that his goal here is to help the team win more.

The 30-year-old Kepa previously played for Chelsea and was loaned to Bournemouth in the 2024/25 season, playing 31 games in the Premier League that season.

Kepa said in an interview, "We are here to win. I think we have a very good team, very good staff and top training facilities, so we must prepare for the new season and strive for success."

"When I spoke to Arteta and Iniki Cana, they showed a strong desire to win and a commitment to keep improving and growing. I am here to help the team, keep moving forward and win more."

Kepa added: "I spoke to Havertz and he was with Odegaard at the time, so the three of us had a good chat. They have begun to give me a general introduction to how the team operates and the good atmosphere in the locker room, so I am very much looking forward to joining in."

As for the competition within the team, Kepa said, "David Raya is a very good goalkeeper and we have a good relationship. We will compete with each other, train together, and spend a lot of time together. Just like other positions in the team, we will compete, but the only goal is to help the team win and do the best."
