Bochum Football Club officially announced that Kevin Vogt has officially returned to the team. The 33-year-old has transferred from Union Berlin and signed a contract with Bochum Club, which is valid until June 30, 2027. The two parties did not disclose the details of the transfer. Kevin Vogt will wear the No. 7 jersey to represent the team.  

Kevin Vogt spent the first 17 years of his outstanding career at Bochum. In 2004, he joined the VfL Bochum youth system from WSV Bochum, progressing through the various echelons and making 17 appearances for the German U18 to U21 national teams.  

In 2009, at the age of 17, he made his Bundesliga debut against Dortmund and later became a regular in the Bundesliga. In 2012, he moved to Augsburg and returned to the Bundesliga. Since then, he has played for Cologne, Hoffenheim, Werder Bremen and Union Berlin, playing 352 Bundesliga games and scoring 4 goals. He also has experience in the Europa League and the Champions League. Now, Kevin Vogt has returned to the starting point of his career - Bochum.

He has more than 400 national and international games experience and can play in multiple positions in defense and midfield. This is one of the important reasons why he is a top signing."

Kevin Vogt also expressed his joy at returning in an interview: "Returning to Bochum and VfL means a lot to me. On the way to the medical examination, I passed through familiar neighborhoods, and I still remember those streets clearly. At the club, I met many old employees and met my former teammate Andy Lute in the office. That moment was really touching."
