The 9th round of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season will feature another key match, with defending champions Bayern Munich hosting formidable opponents Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena. At a press conference, Kompany stated that his team will not change their goals due to a difficult and busy schedule.
In the previous Bundesliga match, Bayern Munich secured a 3-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach thanks to goals from Kimmich, Guerreiro, and Lennart Karl. Earlier in the German Cup, Bayern Munich also maintained their winning streak by eliminating Cologne 4-1, with goals from Diaz, Kane, and Olise.
