Liverpool manager Sloot praises Salah's historic contribution

At a press conference on Friday, Liverpool manager Arne Sloot spoke to the media about the upcoming FA Cup quarter-final away match against Manchester City.
Sloot first brought exciting news for Liverpool fans, confirming that star player Mohamed Salah has fully recovered: "He participated in team training yesterday and today and is ready to play in tomorrow's game."
When discussing Salah's departure, Slaughter was lavish in his praise. He emphasized that all the accolades Salah received were well-deserved: "For so many years, he played for this club almost every three days and gave his all. The goals, assists, and honors he contributed were incredible."

When asked by a reporter whether Salah's announcement of his departure at this time would motivate the team at the end of the season, Slaughter gave a very pragmatic answer. He believes that this event might have a motivating effect on the club as a whole, but it will not change Salah's attitude towards the game.
“He has always been in top form and ready to go for the past eight or nine years,” Slot explained. “Announcing his departure will not give him any extra motivation, because he has been giving his all for Liverpool all these years.”
“You can’t even ask him to do more, because he has already given his all. As long as we have a Salah who can maintain his excellent form, that will be the biggest boost for the team in the final stretch of the season.”
