Following Sevilla's defeat to Villarreal, Lucien Agoume reflected on his team's performance.  

After the game, Lucien Agoume said: "The result and performance of this game were not what we expected at all. We played too badly, and now is the time to sum up. There is room for improvement both as a team and as individuals. We will come back next year with new goals and stronger motivation. The most important thing is the overall performance of the team."  

“The performance at the end of the season did not meet our expectations, and I personally feel that I still have a lot of room for improvement. Although my form has improved in the last few games, I still need to strengthen in many aspects. I am fully aware of the responsibility on my shoulders, and I must go all out to help the club return to its rightful position instead of falling into the relegation quagmire.”  

Suso said: "We did play badly at the start and then improved a little bit, but overall it was not a good game. They have already secured qualification for the Champions League and the gap between the two sides is also obvious. We failed to perform well in the last game of the season."  

"Despite all of that, I'm very happy here and very grateful to be part of the club. The fans have always been there for us and they've always been there for us no matter what stage we're in."  

After scoring the first goal for the team, Ramon Martinez said: "Against a strong team like Villarreal, we did have a problem at the start. In the second half we scored a goal and had a chance to chase the score to 3-2, but a team like them will always punish you for every mistake."  

"We performed better in the second half than in the first, but it was still far from enough. Although I usually play as a center back, I also like the position of full back and I think I can adapt well to it. The moment Agoume passed the ball, I had only one thought in my mind - shoot. I dedicate this goal to my grandfather , who gave me strength in heaven."
