Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount said in an interview that the team will cherish this rare trip to Malaysia and go all out in the upcoming friendly against the Southeast Asian All-Stars team.

After Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 2-0 in the final match of the Premier League, they quickly set off for Southeast Asia to start their post-season overseas tour. This is also Manchester United's first visit to Malaysia since 2009.

At the pre-match press conference, Mount said: "We boarded the plane directly after the game, and the schedule was very tight. But we are all very excited to be here. We don't usually see the fans here, so we really hope to seize this opportunity."

On the personal side, Mount's form improved towards the end of the season, scoring three goals after his return in May, and won the trust of coach Ruben Amorim in the Europa League final and was included in the starting lineup.
