Matthäus Mane: I am very excited for the team. These three points were hard-won but well-deserved.

Matthäus Mane admitted that Saturday's thrilling match against West Ham United made him even more eager to continue his strong start to his career at Wolves. The 18-year- old had impressed in two previous away games, made his first start at Molineux Stadium, and was directly involved in all three goals in the team's first Premier League win of the season.

In the attacking play that led to the team's first goal, Matthäus Mane created a threat with a skillful turn, then won a penalty for the team and calmly converted the second. The young player scored his first goal for Wolves before halftime, perfectly capping off his outstanding first-half performance. He admitted that he is fully enjoying this football journey.

After the match, Matthäus Mane said: "I simply can't believe it. This is exactly what we've been striving for – to score our first goal and get three points. Now, we must build on this and continue to work hard. We've carried our good form from the away game into today."

“We won three points, and I think that's well-deserved after the games against Liverpool and Manchester United. Now that we have three points, we must build on that and move forward.”

“It was fantastic, I’m so excited for the team. The fans’ chants made the whole stadium boil. From the first goal, I felt I could do more. Then I won a penalty and scored my second goal.”

“I saw John Arias near the sideline and considered challenging him, but I ultimately seized the opportunity and scored, which made me very happy. In training, I have been practicing half-turn shots, passing the ball between the player's legs, making it difficult for the goalkeeper to judge the direction of the ball.”

“Sometimes I look back and realize how fast things have gone. I believe I deserve to be here, but I must cherish every minute. We crave success and keep training hard. I’ll rest well now and continue the competition on Thursday.”

"Finally, I want to thank the fans. They chanted my name and cheered for the team, which speaks volumes about the club's incredible cohesion, even though we didn't play. We hope to earn them more points through a great performance."
