Sevilla manager Matías Almeida has heaped praise on his side’s resilience and performance in their comeback against Sunderland on Saturday.  

Matías Almeida said: "In the early stages of the game, both sides were evenly matched, but we had a chaotic rhythm for nearly ten minutes, and there were mistakes, which led to the opponent's goal. However, I really appreciate the team's ability to adjust afterwards and successfully stabilize the situation."  

"Although the team's recent record is not ideal, this game is a valuable training opportunity for us to rebound psychologically. It is worth mentioning that in the second half, our offense showed more vitality than expected."  

In addition, the head coach also said that the results of training have begun to show in the game. He said: "We are steadily moving towards our set goals, and we can see some results in today's game. Although this is just a friendly match, we will continue to motivate the players to go all out."
