In the second quarter, although the Lakers tried to take the lead several times, the Warriors were always able to respond in time, maintaining their slight advantage until halftime, leading 42-41 .

LeBron James scored 12 points in the quarter, including two three-pointers, becoming the key figure in widening the gap for his team. The Warriors relied on Moody for 10 points. After three quarters, the Lakers led 79-71 . In the final quarter, the Warriors narrowed the gap to just one point, making the game suspenseful again. At the crucial moment, the Lakers steadied themselves, establishing a double-digit lead again through consecutive scoring. Although the Warriors rallied, they couldn't complete the comeback. Ultimately, the Lakers easily defeated the Warriors 105-99.
