Nottingham Forest failed to qualify for the European Cup. Nuno said the team will sum up the experience and start again.

Nottingham Forest lost 0-1 to Chelsea and finished seventh, just one point behind sixth-placed Aston Villa, missing out on European football next season.

In the first half of the game, both teams defended the goal and the score ended at 0-0. However, in the 50th minute of the second half, Levi Colwell scored a goal to help Chelsea win. Chelsea also gained 3 points and ranked third, striving for the qualification of the Champions League next season.

Although Nottingham Forest lost, head coach Nuno Espirito Santo was still very proud of the team in an interview after the game, and firmly believed that this was just a new beginning. Nuno said: "This is not the result we wanted, but we are proud and we will start again."

"We played very well in the first half, created a lot of threats and had chances to score, but in the end we fell short. Especially at the end of the game, anxiety affected our performance. The most painful thing is when victory is in your hands and you lose it in the end."

However, Nuno does not blame the players: "I have to thank them for everything they have done. When a player has given his all, he cannot win. Their progress throughout the season has been huge and the platform of the club has become more and more solid. In terms of investment and attitude, I think this is a season worthy of recognition."

"This is a very difficult league. We have tried hard and fought to the end. A lot of things happened during this period, but we never gave up. We are in good shape now. Now is the time to reflect and plan for the future. This moment belongs to the club, not to me personally."
