Nottingham Forest Football Club is pleased to announce that head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has signed a new contract with the club. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has signed a new three-year contract with owner Evangelos Marinakis, which will last until the 2025-26 season.  

Under the careful coaching of Nuno Espirito Santo, Nottingham Forest completed an outstanding 2024-25 season, achieving its best league record in nearly three decades and successfully reaching its first European club competition since the 1995-96 season.  

In the past season, Nuno Espirito Santo led Nottingham Forest to defeat Liverpool and Manchester United away from home. This was the team's first win at Anfield in 55 years and the first win at Old Trafford in 30 years. At the same time, the team also created the longest winning streak in the top league since 1967.  

Nuno Espirito Santo's coaching results have won wide recognition. He was named Premier League Coach of the Month in October, December and March, becoming the head coach with the most wins in the 2024-25 season.  

During his time as a manager, Nuno Espirito Santo has not only achieved great results on the pitch, but also had a profound positive impact off the pitch. Earlier in the season, he and club owner Evangelos Marinakis welcomed local learning disability team Warriors United to the City Ground for an open training session with the first team, giving them a meaningful behind-the-scenes experience.  

Nuno Espirito Santo actively supports the "Home for Christmas" charity event initiated by Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis. The event includes visiting the Queen's Medical Center in Nottingham, participating in the community Christmas party, and giving holiday gifts to local children, demonstrating the club's sense of social responsibility and caring spirit.
