Inter Milan issued a statement on Wednesday, announcing that 21-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Petar Sučić has officially joined. The two sides signed a five-year contract, valid until June 30, 2030.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Sučić's fixed transfer fee to Inter Milan is 14 million euros, with an additional 2.5 million euros in floating clauses and secondary transfer profits.

The 21-year-old Suchić was born in the small town of Livno in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both his parents are Croatian. He has trained in many clubs such as Bugojno Mars, Žilinski, and Dinamo Zagreb. During his loan at Žilinski, he won the 2022/23 Bosnian Super League and Bosnian Cup with the team.

In July 2023, Sučić returned to Dinamo Zagreb from Žilinski after the expiration of his loan. To date, he has played 75 times for Dinamo Zagreb, scoring 9 goals and providing 6 assists. He has won the Croatian League Championship, Croatian Cup Championship, and Croatian Super Cup Championship with the team. Because of his similar playing style, Sučić is also known as the "new Brozovic" by fans.

After completing the transfer, Sučić said: "For me, Inter Milan is one of the top clubs in Europe. When the opportunity to join Inter Milan came, I did not hesitate. I have always been eager to join Inter Milan, and this is a rare opportunity for me. I am well aware of the club's reputation and its symbolic significance, so I am very happy to be a part of it."

He later added: “I am a player who loves teamwork. I want to do my best to help my teammates and perform at my best. I am very happy to come to Inter and can’t wait to start a new journey.”
