Official: Fiorentina sign Parma midfielder Simon Somme on a five-year contract

Fiorentina officially announced on Monday that Swiss midfielder Simon Somme has joined from Parma on a five-year contract that will run until June 30, 2030.

As for the cost of the transfer, multiple media outlets unanimously confirmed it to be 15 million euros.

The 24-year-old Simon Sohm grew up in the Zurich youth training system and made his professional debut for the first team in the Swiss Super League on October 28, 2018. He then played 46 games for FC Zurich, contributing 1 goal and 2 assists.

In October 2020, Som moved to Parma for 6.4 million euros. To date, he has made 155 appearances for Parma, scoring 7 goals and providing 13 assists.

After completing the transfer, Som said: "Florence is a beautiful city, and I also like the Franchi Stadium very much. I feel very happy.
