Salah is out for the away game against Brighton due to a muscle injury, and Gomez's participation is doubtful.

Liverpool are about to face Brighton away in the 31st round of the Premier League. Manager Arne Sloot attended the pre-match press conference and revealed the condition of their star striker Mohamed Salah.

According to an interview with Sloot, Salah will miss the match against Brighton due to a muscle injury. Meanwhile, the fitness of key defender Joe Gomez also needs further evaluation.

Salah was forced to leave the Champions League match early in the second half due to injury during Liverpool's home victory over Galatasaray on Wednesday night, sparking widespread concern about the severity of his injury. Sloot admitted at the press conference: "This is indeed a very rare situation. As everyone expected, he will be unable to play tomorrow."

Regarding the Egyptian striker's absence, Sloot pointed out that the upcoming international break provides Liverpool with a buffer period, but it is undoubtedly bad news for the Egyptian national team, which desperately needs him on the pitch.

However, Slott remains optimistic about Salah's recovery prospects: "Salah has always been extremely disciplined and pays great attention to maintaining his physical condition."

"Past experience has shown that he recovers faster than most people when faced with similar injuries. There are still two weeks until our next round of matches, and we hope he can make a smooth recovery during this period."

Besides Salah's injury, Gomez's physical condition is also a major concern. Despite being included in the substitute list for the Champions League, Gomez did not get a chance to play due to physical discomfort.

Sloth said, "He said he wasn't feeling well before the match, so we tried to postpone the decision until halftime in case of an emergency in extra time. He might be included in the squad for tomorrow's league match, but he definitely won't start."
