Samuel Chukwueze recounted the dramatic night at Craven Cottage, where Fulham suffered a heartbreaking 4-5 defeat to Manchester City in a thrilling attacking battle. Despite the disappointing result, the striker helped his team narrow the gap with his first two goals in England and praised the team's tenacity in the second half.  

After the match, Samuel Chukwueze said, "Today's match was extremely intense, and we conceded some goals that we shouldn't have. But I really admire the team's resilience and fighting spirit in the face of adversity."  

“We capitalized on almost every chance we created in the second half. This loss is regrettable because we were hoping for a three-game winning streak, but ultimately failed to achieve it. However, we will move forward with our heads held high, and the team fought until the very last moment. In the next game against Crystal Palace, we will give our all to repay the fans’ support.”  

Samuel Chukwueze emphasized that the team's unwavering belief was the key driving force behind Fulham's late comeback, and stated that the team's confidence remained high. He said, "I always believed in myself and the team. Without belief, we wouldn't have been able to score. Everyone believed we could pull off a comeback, including the team, the coach, and the fans."  

"The fans' support was incredibly moving. From 5-1 to 5-4, they cheered us on every step of the way. We gave it our all, and I think the team can hold its head high, acknowledge that we played well, and at the same time, we must continue to work hard. For me, it feels great to score two goals, but losing is disheartening. If I could score two goals and help the team win, that would mean a lot, but now, that meaning is gone."  

Samuel Chukwueze spoke about his increased confidence with the team and the support he received from the coaching staff and teammates. He said, "I feel like I'm getting back into form, and most importantly, the coach's trust in me is crucial. He's a coach who trusts and motivates the players, and he also has the support of the fans. My teammates have also given me a lot of motivation, and I have to thank them, as well as the coach."
