Augsburg has one more league match to play before the final international break of the year, an away game against Stuttgart on Monday. Sandro Wagner expects this match against fourth-placed Stuttgart to be very intense.  

Augsburg have been training intensively this week, ten days after their return to the pitch on Sunday. In their last match, they narrowly lost 0-1 to Borussia Dortmund. Despite the defeat, head coach Sandro Wagner has learned positive lessons from that game.  

Sandro Wagner said: "Of course, points are a measure of football performance, but we did a lot of things right in that game. This victory can be a starting point for us to move forward, and we are working towards that. Currently, the team's focus has shifted to the away game against Stuttgart, and the players have been training very hard and putting in a lot of time. We haven't rewarded ourselves enough yet, so this week we are mainly focused on improving our finishing efficiency."  

The head coach wants the team to be fully prepared for any challenge Stuttgart might pose. Sandro Wagner said, "It will be a tough match, and we must give it our all. Our goal is to take something away. Even if Stuttgart completely changes their starting lineup, they are still a strong team. We have spoken with the players many times, and we hope everyone can be prepared for all eventualities."  

Sandro Wagner stated that the team will have a full squad available. He added, "Geoffrey Hauvelleu has fully resumed training, which means all players have a chance to play. This is certainly good news, as this situation is rare."
