Serie A – Yildez scores twice as Juventus come from behind to defeat Cagliari 2-1.

The 13th round of the 2025/26 Serie A season continued, with Juventus hosting Cagliari. They were down 0-1 at one point, but ultimately came from behind to win thanks to a brace from Keinan Yildez.

With this victory, Juventus currently sits seventh in the league with 23 points (6 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses). Cagliari, on the other hand, has a record of 2 wins, 5 draws, and 6 losses, accumulating 11 points and ranking 14th.

Juventus and Cagliari were locked in a tight battle from the start, with the game remaining quite close for a period. Cagliari finally broke the deadlock in the 26th minute: Marco Palestella cut back from the right flank, and Sebastiano Esposito tapped the ball in. However, Juventus responded just one minute later: Kevren Thuram broke into the left side of the penalty area and passed the ball to the center, where Yildez slotted it home to equalize, 1-1.

After equalizing, Juventus gradually took control of the game. In the 29th minute, Francesco Conceição passed the ball to the left wing, and Dusan Vlahovic's long-range shot was blocked by Elia Caprile. In the 32nd minute, Yildez broke into the penalty area from the right and delivered a cross, but Conceição's header was easily caught by Caprile. In the 44th minute, Yildez's free-kick cross from the right wing was met by Turn Koopmenas, whose shot inside the penalty area went wide to the left.

In first-half stoppage time, Pierre Kalulu crossed from the right wing, and Yildez broke into the penalty area and fired a low shot into the net. With Yildez scoring his second goal, Juventus went into halftime with a 2-1 lead.

In the second half, both teams continued their attacking play. In the 47th minute, Jonathan David won the ball back and delivered a through pass, but Conceição's one-on-one shot was blocked by Caprile's outstretched leg. In the 58th minute, Esposito delivered a through pass from the left, and Ríad Idrissi's shot was also saved by Mattia Perin. In the 72nd minute, Andrea Cambiasso crossed from the left, and Conceição's follow-up shot went just over the bar. In the 88th minute, Mattia Felicí received a long throw from Caprile and made a long run into the penalty area, but his final shot was saved by Perin.

Neither side managed to score again. At the final whistle, Juventus defeated their opponents 2-1.
