The new contract will take effect on July 6.
Naz Reid has been a key member of the Timberwolves' rotation since he entered the NBA as an undrafted player in 2019. So far, he has played 406 regular season games for the Timberwolves, averaging 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 48.7% and a three-point shooting percentage of 37.3%.
Reed also played 36 regular season games for the Timberwolves, averaging 11.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 47.6% and a three-point shooting percentage of 38.1%.
With his outstanding performance on the bench, Reed won the Sixth Man of the Year Award in the 2023/24 season. His stable three-point shooting ability and excellent defensive performance are also important guarantees for the Timberwolves to advance to the Western Conference Finals for two consecutive years. According to ESPN data, Reed is one of the only three players on the bench in the NBA in the past three seasons to score more than 2,000 points.
