Shams: Witt Krejci joins the Trail Blazers, Dupp Reese is traded to the Hawks

According to ESPN's Shams Charania on Sunday, the Portland Trail Blazers have reached a trade agreement with the Atlanta Hawks: they sent Dupp Reese and two second-round picks to the Hawks in exchange for Witt Krejci.
Charania further pointed out that the Trail Blazers offered their own 2027 second-round pick and a 2030 second-round pick from the New York Knicks.
25-year-old Vittoria Krejci is a 2.03-meter tall, 88-kilogram guard who entered the NBA in the second round, 37th overall, in 2020. So far this season, he has played 48 regular season games for the Hawks, averaging 9.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 22.3 minutes per game.
It's worth noting that Krejci has a 46.4% field goal percentage this season, and his 42.3% three-point percentage ranks among the top 20 in the league. His addition is expected to fill the Trail Blazers' weakness in outside shooting and help the team make a run for a play-in tournament spot.
As the other party in the trade, the Hawks currently hold seven future second-round picks. They can also waive the draft pick Reese if necessary, providing flexibility to free up roster space.
Dupe Reese, 29, is a 2.06-meter tall, 111-kilogram center who has played two and a half seasons for the Portland Trail Blazers. According to ESPN, he has played a total of 146 regular season games for the Blazers, averaging 6.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 13.3 minutes per game.
However, Reese missed the rest of the season due to a stress fracture in his right foot earlier this year.
