Torino goalkeeper Milinkovic-Savic joins Napoli on loan with buyout clause

Torino officially announced on Saturday that Vanja Milinkovic-Savic will be loaned to Napoli for one season. According to Sky Sports Italy, the contract contains a mandatory buyout clause worth 22 million euros.
Regarding Milinkovic-Savic's departure, Torino wrote in the announcement: "All members of the Torino club thank Vanya for his dedication, resilience and professionalism during his service, bid him a fond farewell and wish him all the best in his future career."
The 28-year-old Milinkovic-Savic is a 2.2-meter-tall Serbian goalkeeper who made his professional debut in the Serbian Super League for his parent club Vojvodina on August 10, 2014. He joined Torino for 2.6 million euros in 2017 and was initially loaned to SPAL, Ascoli and Standard Liege to gain experience.
So far, Milinkovic-Savic has played 158 times for Torino and kept 52 clean sheets. Various signs indicate that he will compete with Alex Meret for the main position of Napoli goalkeeper next season.
