After completing his first Premier League season with West Ham United, midfielder Andy Irving will make his senior Scotland debut in an upcoming international friendly.

In this international match, Scotland will face Iceland and Liechtenstein. Owen is one of the seven uncapped newcomers called up by coach Steve Clarke. He first played for Scotland at the age of 14, and has played at the U17, U19 and U21 levels. Now he is just one step away from realizing his dream.

Irving recently accepted an interview and said: "If someone told me when I was a child that I would be on the national team, I would be moved to death. Now I am very excited to be here. If I can really make my debut, it will be one of the proudest moments of my career."

Although Owen has not had many opportunities to play for West Ham this season, playing only 11 games in all competitions, he has not been discouraged. Owen has won the love of fans with his exquisite skills and outstanding vision. He feels very cherished for this national team call-up.
