Burnley's second new signing this summer, Quilindschy Hartman, could not hide his excitement when he was interviewed by the official channel after completing the signing, and admitted that he couldn't wait to start his new journey in the Premier League.

Hartmann officially joined Burnley from Feyenoord on Thursday, signing a four-year contract. He had played for Feyenoord for 18 years, joined the youth training system at the age of 5, and gradually grew into a first-team starter. Now, he has chosen to leave the familiar environment and move on to a higher challenge.

Recently, Hartmann was interviewed by Burnley's official website and said: "I had great years at Feyenoord, but I feel I am ready for new and bigger opportunities. For me, there is no higher stage than the Premier League."

“This is the first time in my life that I’ve moved to a new country and city, so I’m really excited and looking forward to it. When I saw the schedule, a big smile immediately broke out on my face. As an experienced young player, Hartmann has accumulated more than 130 senior appearances in the Eredivisie, Champions League and national team. He also introduced his playing style to Burnley fans: "I am an aggressive defensive player, fast and like to move forward. When I have the ball at my feet, I like to make offensive passes. I always go all out and do every step for the team."

Hartmann's joining adds vitality to Burnley's defense and also indicates that the team will have more changes worth looking forward to in the new season.
