Manager André Schürlzer stated that although the team still faces a busy schedule during the Christmas period, spending the holidays with their families will greatly benefit the players' mental health.

After a 0-0 draw with Sunderland in the last round, Brighton are currently 9th in the standings with 24 points, having achieved 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses in their last 5 matches.

It's worth mentioning that Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 8-7 on penalties in the English League Cup quarter-finals, advancing to the semi-finals and giving Arteta's team confidence for the upcoming matches.
