Saka believes Arsenal still holds the initiative in the title race.

In a key match of the 31st round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Arsenal took the lead thanks to goals from Saka and Incapie, but conceded a goal and an own goal by Calafiori later in the game, ultimately drawing 2-2 with Wolves. Although his teammates were disappointed, Saka believes the Gunners still hold the initiative in the title race.

Five minutes into the game, Rice received a pass back from Martinelli and delivered a cross, which Saka headed into the net, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead. In the 56th minute of the second half, Gabriel played a through ball to Incapie, who followed up and fired a shot past Wolves goalkeeper José Sá to give Arsenal a 2-0 lead over Wolves.

In the 61st minute, Hugo Bueno received a pass from Santiago Bueno, took a few steps, and fired a long-range shot into the net, helping Wolves pull one back to 1-2. In stoppage time of the second half, Tom Idozi volleyed the ball, which Calafiori attempted to block, but the ball hit the post and bounced into the net, leveling the score at 2-2 for Wolves.

Ultimately, Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by Wolves away from home.

Arsenal striker Saka said in an interview: "The atmosphere in the dressing room is very low. We are very disappointed with the result, that's the only way to describe it. I think it was a completely different game in the first and second halves. We played very well at the beginning of the first half, but our level dropped in the second half, and we paid the price for it."

In addition, the 27th round of the Premier League will feature a North London derby, with Arsenal traveling to face Tottenham Hotspur, managed by new manager Igor Tudor.

As for the title race, Arsenal currently sits in first place with 58 points, leading their strong rivals Manchester City by 5 points with one game played in advance.

Saka stated, "This was a big match to begin with, and it still is. We know we have to win the next few matches."

"This was an important match to begin with, and it still is. The initiative is still in our hands, so we need to focus on that, solve the problems we have, and get back on track to victory."
