Nottingham Forest announced on Monday that French striker Arnaud Calimondo has joined from Rennes on a five-year contract, valid until June 30, 2030.

The official also confirmed that Calimondo will wear the No. 15 jersey at Nottingham Forest. According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer fee is 31.5 million euros.

The 23-year-old Calimondo came through the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy and made his professional debut in the second round of Ligue 1 on September 10, 2020. He was then loaned to Lens for two consecutive years to gain experience, during which time he made 65 appearances across all competitions, contributing 21 goals and 6 assists.

In August 2022, Calimondo moved to Rennes for €20 million. To date, he has made 112 appearances for Rennes, scoring 40 goals and providing 14 assists.

After completing the signing, Kalimundo said: "I was deeply honored when I learned that Forest was interested in me. It is a proud moment in my career to be able to join a club that performed well last season and has a glorious history."
