Matthäus Mane impressed in his debut on Saturday, but he wasn't complacent, instead determined to continue improving. After impressing on several substitute appearances in recent weeks, the attacker earned his first first-team start against Liverpool on Saturday. He was active and threatening, forcing the home goalkeeper to make two saves.  

Next, Manchester United will face another Premier League challenge at Old Trafford. The 18-year-old, who joined from Rochdale last year, is eager to get playing time again and hopes to contribute more goals and bring more victories to his career.

I have been focused on training and improving, and then the new manager trusted me, and now I have finally gotten the opportunity I deserve."
