Scott Parker insists Burnley will not take a passive approach to the challenges.

Newly promoted Burnley will travel to Craven Cottage to face Marco Silva's Fulham in the next round of Premier League matches. Scott Parker stated that he is very much looking forward to the game and that his team will not approach their current situation and challenges with a negative mindset.

After a 0-0 draw against Bournemouth in the last round of the Premier League, Burnley currently sit 19th in the table with 20 points. To escape relegation, Burnley must fight tooth and nail in their remaining matches.

It's worth mentioning that Burnley manager Scott Parker played for Fulham as a player and also coached Fulham.

Scott Parker said, "I'm looking forward to going back there and seeing some familiar faces, but my focus is entirely on ourselves. They are a great team with a great head coach and a squad that has been gelling for a long time. They also have very good players, have done a great job with signings, and have established themselves at this level, so we know it will be a tough test."

In the first leg of the season, Burnley lost 2-3 at home to Fulham after goals from Hugochuku and Oliver Thorne.

Scott Parker said, "They caused us trouble at Moa's Stadium against Fulham with two set pieces and a counter-attack goal, and everyone could see their strength. Of course, they were also strong at Craven Cottage. But as I said, we went there with only one goal: to show our best and strive for a positive result."

“We’ve had some good away games in London this season, including a win against Crystal Palace and a draw against Chelsea, which are very good results. If we want to get another good result, we have to be at our best, but we are ready and looking forward to this game and hope to bring back a positive result.”

Furthermore, when discussing the goal of avoiding relegation, Scott Parker said, "We still have a chance. This team has resilience and a drive to keep going. There are still 24 points to fight for, and we must look at it that way and continue to compete as a whole. We may think we've already lost, but neither I nor the team will see it that way, and that's the message I've been conveying to the players."

"The team's overall atmosphere is positive, and maintaining this mentality is not easy because the situation we face is indeed challenging, but we have never become negative here. The players have been working hard to improve and strive for good results."
