Stuttgart announced on its official website on Wednesday that the club has extended the contract of its Germany international defender Josha Vagnoman.
According to Stuttgart's official statement, Vagnoman has signed on a new three-year contract which runs until the summer of 2028.
After completing his contract extension procedures, Vagnoman, who was interviewed by the Stuttgart official website again, said: "I feel great here, both with the team and at the club, and I'm proud of the path we've taken so far."
"At the same time, it's a huge motivation for me to continue my success at Stuttgart and to continuously improve as a player. So I'm very happy to have renewed my contract. The way the fans inspire us is truly special, so it's even more rewarding when we can repay them with our performances."
About Josha Vagnoman
The 24-year-old Vagnoman was born on December 11, 2000, in Hamburg, Germany. He is 1.87 meters tall and primarily plays as a right-wing back, but can also play as a right midfielder, left-wing back, or left midfielder. He holds dual German and Ivorian citizenship.
Vagnorman joined Hamburg's youth academy at the age of 10 and completed his Hamburg debut by coming on as a substitute in March 2018.
During his five-year spwll at Hamburg, Vagnorman established himself as one of the top full-backs in the 2. Bundesliga.
In July 2022, Vagnorman joined Stuttgart for €3.7 million.
Since joining Stuttgart, Vagnorman has so far made 88 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga powerhouse, scoring 7 goals and providing 9 assists. During which he has helped the club reach the DFB-Pokal semi-finals once.
