Kane will be unable to participate in the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach due to a leg injury.

The 25th round of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season will take place, with defending champions Bayern Munich hosting Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Allianz Arena. Manager Vincent Kompany has stated that England star Harry Kane has suffered a leg injury and will be unable to participate in the match.

With a brace from Kane and a goal from Kimmich, Bayern Munich secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga's crucial match last round.

After securing their fourth consecutive victory, Bayern Munich remains in first place in the standings with 63 points, 11 points ahead of second-placed Borussia Dortmund.

As for Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eugen Polanski's team is currently ranked 12th in the standings with 25 points, and has achieved 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses in the last 5 rounds.

When discussing the squad situation, Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany said, "Hiroki Ito and Alphonso Davies will be absent, as will Harry Kane. He suffered a leg injury and has not fully recovered yet. It's just a minor injury from a collision, but it doesn't seem serious at the moment. However, he may need another day to recover before he can play."

“We are more relaxed now. Of course we hope Kane can play in this game, but this can happen during the season.”

Regarding the current title race, Kompany said, "We've had an 11-point lead before, and we know that lead could change very soon."

“We were only focused on our performance and winning the game, and I only looked at the standings once after the Dortmund game, which looked pretty good at the time. But after that, our only focus was the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. It may sound cliché, but that’s how I work.”
