Serie A – Pavlovic and Leao scored in quick succession, helping Milan to a 2-0 away victory over Cremonese.

In the 27th round of the 2025/26 Serie A season, AC Milan traveled to Cremonese. They ultimately won 2-0, and currently sit in second place with a record of 16 wins, 9 draws, and 2 losses, accumulating 57 points.

Cremonese are currently 17th in Serie A with a record of 5 wins, 9 draws and 13 losses, tied with Lecce, who are in the relegation zone, on 24 points.

AC Milan created numerous threats early on, but failed to convert their dominance into goals. In the 20th minute, Alexis Saelemaekers made a long run from midfield to the edge of the penalty area before unleashing a long-range shot that grazed the post. In the 34th minute, Youssef Fofana's through ball from midfield created a one-on-one opportunity for Rafael Leão, whose powerful shot struck the left post.

In the 44th minute, Fofana moved into the attacking third and delivered another through ball, but Christian Pulisic's one-on-one shot was saved by Emil Audero. In the first minute of first-half stoppage time, Saelemaekers crossed from the right, and Fofana's low shot from the edge of the box was again saved by Audero.

After the break, AC Milan continued to struggle to find the net. In the 60th minute, Adrian Rabiot delivered a cross from the left side of the penalty area, and Leão's follow-up shot went over the crossbar under pressure from Audero. In the 73rd minute, Leão received a pass from David Batsaggi and broke into the penalty area before unleashing a shot, which was saved by Audero. In the 86th minute, Luca Modric delivered a cross from the edge of the penalty area at a 45-degree angle, and Niklas Füllkrug's header at the far post went just over the bar.

In the 89th minute, AC Milan finally broke the deadlock: Modric crossed from the left, and Koni de Winter headed the ball on in the penalty area, setting up Strashinja Pavlovic to score. In the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time, Christopher Nkunku sprinted halfway before crossing into the middle, where Leao easily tapped the ball into the empty net. Cremonese, having conceded two goals, were powerless to turn the tide, and the final score remained 2-0.
