Werder Bremen officially announced on Wednesday that Samuel Mbangula has joined from Juventus. The two parties have signed a five-year contract, which will be valid until June 30, 2030.

According to multiple media reports, this transfer will become the second most expensive signing in Bremen's history. They paid Juventus 10 million euros for this, plus a floating bonus of 2 million euros.

Samuel Mbangula, 21, mainly plays as a left winger, but can also play as a shadow striker, right winger, etc. He was born in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, and joined Juventus U17 from Anderlecht in 2019.

On August 19, 2024, Mbangula made his professional debut for Juventus in the first round of Serie A. To date, he has made 32 appearances for the Zebras, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists.

After the transfer was completed, Bremen's football director Peter Niemeyer said: "We are very happy that Samuel has transferred to Werder Bremen and made a long-term decision to play for Werder Bremen.
