According to ESPN's Shams Charania on Friday, Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is doubtful for the next game due to a left hamstring strain.

On May 16, local time, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-107 in Game 6 of the NBA Western Conference semifinals, dragging the series into a tiebreaker. However, one of their main players, Gordon, suddenly felt discomfort in his left leg with only about 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter and eventually chose to leave the game early.

Before his injury, Gordon played a total of 388 minutes, contributing 5 points on 2 of 7 shots, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal. After the game, he said he felt good: "Let's wait and see. I will start recovering immediately and make sure I'm ready for Game 7." TA reporter Tony Jones then added that Gordon was emotionally stable at the time and his left leg was not bandaged or iced.

Gordon, 29, has played for the Denver Nuggets since 2021 and is considered an important member of the team's championship lineup in the 2022/23 season. He has played in 51 regular season games this season, averaging 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 53.1% and a three-point shooting percentage of 43.6%.

In the playoffs, Gordon still performed steadily. Although he withdrew from the G6 game early due to injury, he still averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 13 playoff games, with a shooting percentage of 48.5% and a three-point shooting percentage of 38.2%.
