Former Inter Milan Italy international midfielder Stefano Sensi joins Anorthosis Famagusta on a free transfer..

Anorthosis Famagusta announced on its official website on Tuesday that former Inter Milan Italy international midfielder Stefano Sensi has joined the club on a free transfer after leaving Monza following the expiration of his contract.

According to the Cypriot First Division club's official statement, Sensi has signed on a short-term contract which will only run until the end of the season, with an option to extend for a further year.

In addition, according to Sky Sports' renowned Italian transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, Sensi had previously held transfer talks with Gençlerbirliği.

However, the transfer fell through due to Sensi's inability to reach personal terms with the Turkish Süper Lig club.

About Stefano Sensi

The 30-year-old Stefano Sensi was born on August 5, 1995, in Urbino, Italy. He is 1.68 meters tall and primarily plays as a center midfielder, but he can also play as an attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder.

Sensi joined the youth academy of a local non-league club in Urbino at the age of six. He joined Rimini's youth academy in 2007, but three years later, due to Rimini's bankruptcy, he moved to the youth academy of local rivals Cesena.

In July 2013, Sensi was loaned-out to San Marino for two years.

After returning from his loan spell in the summer of 2015, Sensi completed his Cesena first-team debut in an Coppa Italia match in August of that year.

The following January, Sensi joined Sassuolo, but was first loaned back to Cesena for six months.

After returning from his loan spell, Sensi officially became a key player in Sassuolo's first-team, reaching the Coppa Italia round of 16s three times.

In July 2019, Sensi joined Inter Milan on-loan, and his rights were officially bought out in August of the following year for €25 million.

In 2022, Sensi was loaned-out to Sampdoria and then Monza.

Upon returning from his loan the following summer, he became a member of Inter's first-team once again.

After leaving the club at the end of his contract last August, Sensi returned to Monza as a free agent.

However, he was unable to help the club avoid relegation to Serie B.

During his four-year spell with I Nerazzurri, Sensi made 57 appearances for Inter in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists. During which he has also won two Serie A titles and two Supercoppa Italiana titles, as well as reaching the Europa League final once with the club.
