Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie praised his side's resilience as they fought back to secure a point against Leeds United. Bournemouth took the lead at Elland Road through a superb free-kick from Antoine Semenyo, before Joe Rodon equalised with a header just before half-time.  

Reflecting on the result, Ryan Christie said: "Frankly, considering the outcome, we're happy with the point we've received. The opponent's physicality was excellent and the game was as intense as we expected. In this dynamic stadium, they made the most of their strengths."  

"Throughout the game, we had some ups and downs in ball possession, and we worked hard to regain the initiative after we lost control. We played very well in the first half and effectively limited the opponent's offensive opportunities. Unfortunately, we made mistakes in defending set pieces."  

"The situation changed in the second half, as the opponent clearly outperformed us at the start. We struggled to control the situation for a while, but the substitutes played well. With this lineup, even on the road, we didn't feel like we were eliminated."  

"The team showed tremendous resilience, which is a credit to the players, especially with the changes in players' status this summer. I think everyone felt the team's cohesion and the close unity of the team. It's not just about the starters and the bench, but a true reflection of team spirit."  

Ryan Christie praised 19-year-old Frenchman Elie Junior Crupi for scoring his first goal since joining from Lorient. He said: "Having a player like him come on as a substitute in the chasing pack is invaluable. We are all very happy for Elie Junior Crupi, and he has been very dedicated in training since joining the team. It is really challenging for a young player to come here and compete in the Premier League. I believe he still has a lot of potential to show."

The Yorkshire game was Ryan Christie's first league start of the season, having returned to training after groin surgery at the end of last season. He also wore the captain 's armband during the match .  

Ryan Christie added: "Personally, it's a great feeling. After a long break, I'm now fit and able to get back on the pitch. When you first come back into the team, you naturally want to play straight away, but that's not the case. You need a few weeks of training and matches to get used to it. Now I finally feel like I'm ready for the challenge."
