Guardiola believes in Manchester City's ability to cope with setbacks.

Manchester City, nicknamed the "Blue Moon," will travel to St. James' Park to face Newcastle United in a crucial fifth-round FA Cup match. City manager Pep Guardiola stated that he believes in the team's ability to cope with defeats and setbacks, and is confident that the team will improve in the future.

In an earlier Premier League match, Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest after goals from Semenho and Rodri. Currently, Manchester City sit second in the standings with 60 points, seven points behind leaders Arsenal who have played one more game, thus facing some obstacles in their title race.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said, "Many times, in the previous two seasons and last season, and even this season, we have usually responded well to setbacks, and we have the ability to forget about them quickly."

“It was a very tough competition, I would say it was like a final. Sometimes we can stay in a competition like the FA Cup, and sometimes we get knocked out. The players were certainly disappointed, we did more than our opponents in many ways, but that’s just how the game is sometimes.”

Guardiola continued, "We failed to win against Nottingham Forest. The expected goals were 2.15 to 0.7, and the opponent created fewer chances, but in the end we could only manage a draw. That's football."

"We need to defend better in some areas. We are not a complete team yet and we cannot maintain consistency in the competition. That's the current situation."

In addition, Manchester City will travel to face Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 next week, and will then compete against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup title.

Guardiola also stated, "We are in a process of undergoing many changes, and we can learn faster. We haven't lost anything yet, and we can still continue to work hard and maintain our competitiveness when the last month of the season arrives. I am also very certain that we will be better next season, and I have no doubt about that."
