Vitor Pereira believes the team is in the right state mentally and tactically for the match.

Although Vitor Pereira expressed regret that his team failed to obtain their first Premier League victory away to Tottenham Hotspur, he praised the players' continued growth and progress.

Wolves missed a golden opportunity to secure victory near the end of the match. João Palinha's crucial goal equalized for the hosts, while Santiago Bueno opened the scoring early in the second half. Despite this, the manager was pleased with his team's recent performance and believed their first Premier League victory was just around the corner.

After the game, Vitor Pereira said: "I want to congratulate my team and players. We should have won this game, but football is like this, sometimes it is not fair. We lost the ball in the final moments, but as long as we continue to maintain this fighting spirit and continue the way of playing in the second half, the points will come naturally."

"We played our best in the second half. In my opinion, we deserved to win, but that's the beauty of football. I had to stay calm because it hurts to concede a goal in the final moments, but that's the nature of football. The difference is that now we're able to work together as a team. In the past, we didn't have time to work together. Now, everyone knows their goals and we can adapt to different tactical systems."

"The first half was quite challenging for us, as we had difficulty controlling the crosses, but I thought we played well in the second half and we also played well in the last game. We are unbeaten in two games but we have to keep this fighting spirit. We need to improve our level and we also need some rest."

Reflecting on Santiago Bueno's opening goal for Wolves, Vitor Pereira said: "Until the very end, I believed we could win. This is not only good for me personally, but also for the team. We have great spirit and quality, and we are now showing what we are capable of."

"In the games against Everton and Tottenham, I think the team has reached the required state both mentally and tactically. I told the players that we must maintain this fighting spirit and mentality and continue to play in this way, so that we can definitely win points in the future."
