Leicester City lost 0-2 to Norwich City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, ending a two-game draw streak under Gary Rowett's management. Leicester City currently sit 22nd in the league table.  

Leicester City captain Ricardo Pereira said: "We must focus on the task at hand and improve our performance in the coming weeks to get out of this predicament. With only 11 games left in the league, now is a crucial time for us to regroup, fight for victory, and improve our ranking."  

"Next, we will travel to face Ipswich Town, who are striving for promotion, followed by consecutive home games against Bristol City and Queens Park Rangers, with the goal of getting back on track as soon as possible. We are very disappointed with the results and performances. After two away games, this home game is especially important for us in front of the fans."  

“We are very disappointed that we did not play to our best level and did not achieve the desired result. At halftime, we discussed the need to increase our energy and speed up the pace, both with and without the ball. However, our performance in the second half was even worse than in the first half.”  

“We didn’t create enough chances and need to control the game better. However, games are often unpredictable, which is tough, so we are disappointed. We want to do better, and we must do better.”  

Ricardo Pereira stated that the team should now look forward and focus on the results that can be achieved in the coming weeks and months, and the players need to step up and meet the challenges. He added, "While we are disappointed today, we must look ahead to the training and matches to come tomorrow. The support of the fans is crucial in the final few games of the season."  

“We have many goals to achieve, so we must give it our all every day. There’s no doubt about that, and everyone needs to step up. If we, the veterans, can help the younger players focus on their responsibilities on and off the field, then the team can be at its best for every game.”
