Arteta aims to achieve even better results at Arsenal next season after securing Champions League qualification

With Rice scoring a goal, the Gunners Arsenal defeated the Magpies Newcastle 1-0 in the 37th round of the 2024/25 Premier League and successfully secured a place in the Champions League. Arteta said that the team will get better next season and will continue to strive for better results.

Saka created an offensive opportunity after seizing the ball in the 55th minute of the second half. Odegaard passed the ball back to the top of the penalty area, and Rice stepped forward and scored with a long shot, helping Arsenal take the lead 1-0.

In the end, Arsenal beat Newcastle 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium. After taking all three points, Arsenal is currently ranked second in the standings with 71 points, 5 points ahead of Newcastle in third place, and successfully secured the Champions League qualification.

Arsenal manager Arteta said in an interview, "I am very satisfied with the result of the game. This was a difficult game. We knew from the beginning that the opponent was in good shape, so we had to lock in the victory as soon as possible."

"Both teams were under enormous pressure to make sure we finished second in the league and qualified for the Champions League, and we did that in a very convincing way. Now it's all about playing the last game well, then starting the summer plan and regrouping to start again."

Arteta said: "We have experienced peak moments and dreamed of lifting important trophies. This was the goal at the beginning of the season, but unfortunately we failed to achieve it. However, the process of pursuing dreams should not blur the remarkable achievements we have made, whether it is the club, the players or the entire team. Those are the icing on the cake."

"We really went all out and set our expectations high. We're going to continue to do that next season, still with that passion and not have a single doubt or 'what if' that we can't play the way we do. We're going to strive to get better, and I'm going to lead the way to do that and restart the season the way this club deserves."

In addition, Arteta also said, "I am very grateful to the fans for staying and cheering for the players, the coaching staff, myself and the entire club. We have established an incredible relationship over the years and experienced some of the best memories of this stadium in the past 15 to 20 years. There will be more waiting for us in the future, so let us work together and good things will come true."
