Amorim: Manchester United needs to speak with performance, it's time to show our true strength

After losing to Brentford away last week, Manchester United will face in-form Sunderland in their final Premier League match before the international break.
Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim stressed in the pre-match press conference that now is not the time to rely on words to appease the fans, but the whole team must show its true strength on the court.
"Now is not the time to talk, but to show," Amorim said bluntly. "Looking back at the games this season, for me, they've all been very different. Some issues have recurred, but they have nothing to do with positioning or passing; they're about factors that can't be changed. In some games, we showed what we should be like, but in others, details didn't make us look like the same team."
Amorim pointed out that the team's instability in small details directly affected the overall performance: "In the six games, our efforts and concentration in different games were not consistent. This difference must be balanced. Once this is done, everything will change."
Manchester United's current performance in the standings is not ideal, and after losing 1-3 to Brentford in the last round, the pressure on them has increased. In contrast, Sunderland has started the season strongly, with 11 points and a high fifth place, and recently defeated Nottingham Forest away, showing that they are in great form.
Despite this, Amorim chose to focus on the team itself. He emphasized his responsibility to help the team prepare and strive for victory: "My job is to prepare the team and face the next game. We must play the full 90 minutes and maintain consistent execution. This is the key to winning."
