Angers announced on their official website on Friday that they have extended the contract of its France U19s international striker Prosper Peter.
According to Angers' official statement, Peter has signed on a new short-term two-year deal which will only run until the summer of 2028.
About Prosper Peter
The 18-year-old Peter was born on August 9, 2007, in Paris, France. He is 1.88 meters tall and plays as a center forward. He holds dual French and Nigerian citizenship.
Peter played for the youth academies of two non-league clubs in Nantes during his childhood. He joined Angers' youth academy in 2022, began playing for their B team in 2024, and completed his Angers first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in April 2025.
Since his debut, Peter has so far made 27 appearances for the Ligue 1 club in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
