Auxerre announced on their official website on Monday that the club have extended the contract of Mali international forward Lassine Sinayoko.
According to Auxerre's official statement, Sinayoko has signed on a short-term one-and-a-half-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2027, with an option to extend for a further year.
About Lassine Sinayoko
The 26-year-old Sinayoko was born on December 8, 1999, in Bamako, the capital of Mali. He is 1.86 meters tall and primarily plays as a center forward, but can also play as a left or right winger. He holds dual Malian and French citizenship.
Sinayoko played for the youth academy of non-league club Entente SSG in his early years. After joining Auxerre in 2017, he immediately started playingfor their B team in December of the same year, before making his Auxerre first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in April 2021.
Since joining Auxerre, Sinayoko has made 161 appearances for the Ligue 1 club in all competitions, scoring 25 goals and providing 23 assists, winning the Ligue 2 title with the club once.
