In the first quarter, the Wizards started with a hot 6-0 run , but the Hornets quickly adjusted their offense. Ball was in hot form and scored 15 points in a single quarter, helping the team to overtake and end the first quarter with a 31-30 lead.

In the second quarter, Wizards' Sarr made consecutive hits to lead the team to a counterattack, and at one point they overtook by double digits, but the Hornets stabilized the situation with team cooperation, and the Wizards led 62-51 at halftime.

After the change of sides, the Hornets strengthened their defense and used outside firepower to quickly reverse the situation. Knipper made three consecutive three-pointers to lead the team to overtake. At the end of the third quarter, the Hornets took the initiative with 95-88.

In the final quarter, the Wizards briefly closed the gap, but Bridges stepped up with consecutive points, and Ball also played well on the playmaking end. The Hornets played a wave of offense and completely widened the gap, eventually defeating the Wizards 139-113.
