The 2025/26 NBA regular season will feature another crucial game as the Charlotte Hornets travel to Orlando to face the Orlando Magic. Head coach Charles Lee recently stated in an interview that the team's recent progress is partly due to their continuously improving defense, as well as the excellent chemistry and trust among the players.
Thanks to contributions from LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Kobe Knuppel, the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Washington Wizards 126-109 in their last regular season game. The Charlotte Hornets currently sit 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.
When discussing the team's recent improvements in both defense and offense, Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee said, "I think part of it comes from the intensity of our defense; I can feel that our defense has been getting better and better."
"In the games we won, our defensive efficiency was usually at a very high level. On offense, I also think we've done a lot better in trusting the pass and in using the pass to handle the game since that game against the Brooklyn Nets on the road."
In addition, Charles Lee said, "Now, after many games, I always mention how many assists we used to score.
