Fiorentina completes contract extension with head coach Raffaele Palladino..

Fiorentina announced on its official website on Wednesday that the club has extended the contract of its Italian head coach Raffaele Palladino.
According to Fiorentina's official statement, Palladino has signed on a new a two-year contract with the club which will run until the summer of 2027.
About Raffaele Palladino
Raffaele Palladino, 41, was born in Naples, Italy on April 17, 1984. He is 1.82 meters tall. During his playing career, he primarily played as a left winger, but he can play as a center forward or attacking midfielder. He has played for Benevento, Juventus, Salernitana, Genoa, Parma, Monza among many other clubs.
After retiring in 2019, Palladino stayed at Monza as its U19s team's coach, and was promoted to U19s team head coach two years later.
In September 2022, Palladino was officially appointed as Monza's first-team head coach.
During his one-and-a-half-year spell at Monza, Palladino led the club to successfully avoid relegation.
In the summer of 2024, Palladino replaced Vincenzo Italiano, who moved to Bologna, as the new head coach of Fiorentina.
So far this season, Palladino has coached the Serie A powerhouse in 49 games in all competitions, achieving 23 wins, 13 draws and 13 losses, with a win percentage of 46.94%, and led the team to the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League.
