September 27th , according to HoopsHype reporter Michael Scotto, the Memphis Grizzlies have reached a signing agreement with forward Charlie Brown II.

Brown , 27 , has four years of NBA experience, having played for the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers , and New York Knicks. He played in 49 games, averaging 2.0 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in limited playing time.

Last season with the Westchester Knicks, Brown averaged 17.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game. He also had a brief stint with the Raptors 905 in the 2024-25 season , averaging 12.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. His length and versatile defensive abilities have kept him on the radar of NBA teams.

Under the leadership of new head coach Tuomas Isalo, the Grizzlies made a lot of moves during the offseason. The team selected three rookies in the 2025 draft: Hansen Young, Javon Small and Will Richard. At the same time, they also brought in veterans Kentavious Caldwell - Pope and Jock Randle to increase their combat effectiveness.
