Bournemouth will host Nottingham Forest at home in the 2025/26 Premier League season. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola expressed his delight at the new signings' understanding of the club's goals, while also acknowledging the need for them to continue integrating with the team.

Bournemouth signed a number of players this summer, including Petrovic, Adrian Truffel, Alex Jimenez and Ben Dok.

"Teams currently further down the table can break into the top half by winning two or three games, so the most important thing right now is to keep building the team," said Andoni Iraola. "I think we're in that process just like any other team, and we need to keep getting used to these new players."

"We need to understand how players behave when they're not in form and make mistakes, it's a normal process of adaptation."

In addition, thanks to goals from Crupi and Ryan Christie, Bournemouth drew 3-3 with Crystal Palace in the last round of the league, achieving an unbeaten record of 2 wins and 3 draws in the past 5 rounds.

When talking about Tyler Adams' performance, Andoni Iraola said, "He is a competitor and an excellent leader, so he must be challenged. Even in training, he will be dissatisfied if there is a penalty that is not in his favor. But I like such players, they are eager for more. He always stays focused and is a natural leader. No matter which team he is in, he is in a leadership position."

"He had a difficult start to his time at Bournemouth and suffered injuries in his first season, so he didn't get many game times, but I never doubted his ability. Whenever he was able to play, he performed very well.

"He understands the team's goals very well and is the first one to correct the team from the midfield position. If he comes to me and says something during a game or training session, it means there is a real problem," continued Andoni Iraola.
