Jurgen Strand-Larsen was delighted with his impressive performance after coming on as a substitute, scoring twice in the final 10 minutes as Wolves defeated West Ham United in the Carabao Cup.  

With the team trailing 2-1, Norwegian striker Jørgen Strand Larsen came on as a substitute. Late in the game, he formed a strike duo with fellow substitute Sasa Karadžić, repeatedly tearing apart the West Ham United defense. He also scored twice, leading the team to a comeback victory.  

After the game, Jurgen Strand-Larsen said: "This game was undoubtedly a wonderful comeback victory for us. The two sides were evenly matched in the first half, but I think we performed better before halftime. However, we were a little relaxed in the second half, which led to the loss of two goals. This is an area we must improve on. We can't always concede goals so easily."  

“Having said that, we showed great form in the comeback, especially scoring two goals in front of the fans. It was a very special feeling. Seeing so many people in support was an unforgettable experience. Both goals were fantastic, and although I could have completed a hat trick, scoring two goals in just 15 minutes was a very good result overall.”  

"When I saw Andre about to shoot, I thought it might not go in and I had to prepare for a second try. But luckily, the ball flew right in front of me. I was about to shoot immediately, but in the end I managed to put the ball into the net."  

“The second goal came from a great cross. I think we played with momentum at that stage, especially after Sasa came on. We both had a big physical advantage, which was a big challenge for the opponent's defense, and that's why we created some space.”  

"I think guys like John Arias, JJ Bellegarde and Phil Lopez are happy to play with us. In the last 10 minutes of the game, we caused a lot of trouble for the opponent, and I think that was the key to our comeback."
