Jurgen Klopp said on Tuesday he has no intention of returning to coaching at this time.

The 58-year-old Klopp, who led Dortmund to two Bundesliga titles, one German Cup and two German Super Cups, later brought Liverpool one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one Premier League, one European Super Cup, one FA Cup, two League Cups and one Community Shield. He officially left the Liverpool managerial position in June last year and became the global head of football at Red Bull Group in November of the same year.

Klopp is very satisfied with his life after leaving the dugout. In an exclusive interview with TA, he clarified: "After Arne Slaughter took over, did I look forward to the games every weekend? Not at all. I'm very happy with Liverpool's performances. I've watched a few games, but it's not like I felt like, 'Wow, it's Saturday!'"

"I don't even know what time the games start. I just go out and play, exercise. We enjoy life, spend time with the grandchildren and live a completely normal life. I know I will continue to work, but I don't want to be a coach anymore."

As for whether he might coach again in the future, Klopp responded: "At least that's what I think now, but who knows. I'm 58 years old this year. If I come back at 65, people will definitely say, 'Didn't you say you'd never do it again!' Well, sorry, I thought so 100% at the time! This is what I think now. I don't miss coaching life at all. I have never thought about coaching until the end of my life."

He then explained that the intense coaching work in the past had severely compressed his personal life: "In the past 25 years, I have only attended two weddings - one was my own, and the other was two months ago. In 25 years, I have only been to the cinema four times - all in the past eight weeks. It feels great to be able to do these things now."

"As a coach, I've travelled to many countries, but I never really got to experience the local culture: all I saw was the hotel, the stadium or the training ground, nothing else. I didn't have any regrets in the past, but now I miss it."

"Now I can choose my own life. I can go on holiday and I decide when. Well, my wife Ulla decides when. Ultimately, it's not the Premier League or the Bundesliga that decides."
